Shake off your fears and come with me!

Howard University Alumna, Winner in Project Pitch It 2018, Black Excellence Awards 2020 Honoree, Professional in  Aerial Yoga, Aerial Hoop and Bungee Workout;  Yoga Tune Up® Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher; Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy trained; Member of the Worldwide Federation of Female Professionals.

In 2010, Thérèse made a decision to release the ideas that for a long time felt confining and restrictive, binding her to a career that was never hers.  She chose to follow another pathway leading toward something deeper and spiritual.  Her yoga training was the pathway that would bring her to launching an aerial yoga and aerial arts studio in Milwaukee--vowing to share her enthusiasm for movement arts with a community of curiosity-seekers and dedicated practitioners who also wanted something more, something different. when it comes to exercise.

"My purpose is to connect with and inspire people to use this practice to explore a deeper part of themselves--their natural gifts."

Guided by Holy Spirit to recognize the healing effects of forgiveness, radical self-honesty, and authentic expression of your innate gifts, she appreciates the light that shines from each of her students.  She believes the power of movement stirs one's natural creative energy to igniting personal growth.  "Gratitude is my song."

Women, Exercise and Longevity

Women who can exercise vigorously are at significantly lower risk of dying from heart disease, cancer and other causes. The research is presented at EuroEcho 2019, a scientific congress of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).

"Good exercise capacity predicted lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other causes,” said Dr. Peteiro.

“Exercise as much as you can. Fitness protects against death from any cause."
---Dr. Jesús Peteiro, of University Hospital A Coruña
